Tiffany Lin RD, LD, CDE
Certified Diabetes Educator
Tiffany Lin is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she completed her internship training through the UT Coordinated Program in Dietetics. Tiffany has experience in corporate wellness, sports nutrition, food service management, and is well versed providing outpatient nutrition therapy to a variety of people from different backgrounds, cultures, and ages. While counseling patients on food and diet therapies, she saw the prevalence of obesity and diabetes and the positive role diet and lifestyle has in management.
Tiffany treats patients with compassion, empathy, and respect, while equipping them with the resources, guidance, and emotional support needed to empower self-management, and motivate behavior change to achieve long term success. Tiffany listens to her patients, hear their needs, and provides evidenced based recommendations tailored to their financial, social, cultural, and health needs. It is Tiffany’s goal to help optimize the knowledge and use of nutrition to promote health, improve quality of life, and support the well-being of her patients.
A notable success story was her ability to work with a morbidly obese, high risk pregnancy patient being treated for multiple chronic diseases including an A1C in the double digits. Working together, her patient decreased her weight, her A1C dropped to the single digits, medication was reduced, and she delivered a healthy baby! Tiffany looks forward to more success stories as a CDE coach as she helps patients transform into happier, healthier, and more active versions of themselves.
