Andrea Conner, MPH, RDN, CDE
Certified Diabetes Educator
Andrea MPH, RDN, CDE, holds a Masters in Public Health from UCLA where she also received the DeBenedictis fellowship for excellence in Public Health and Nutritional Sciences for two consecutive years. She served as Diabetes Education Program Coordinator at UCLA’s Gonda Diabetes Center. She has more than a decade experience in training gestational diabetes patients, developing and presenting live Diabetes webinars, developing videos and educational content for weight management and pre-diabetes and Type 1 and 2 diabetes programs. Andrea holds certifications in weight management, insulin pumps, CGM technologies and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. Her nutrition philosophy is blending science with practical aspects with attention to behavioral change (not a restrictive diet approach) and habit building to improve the client's relationship with food and health/wellness outcome.
Andrea is a Certified Personal Trainer and Registered to teach Yoga and Paddleboard Yoga. She has been involved in athletics from age 6 and was awarded an athletic scholarship for gymnastics from the University of Missouri-Columbia where she received her Bachelor degree in Dietetics and Nutrition and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Fitness. Recently, she has been nominated to the Nebraska Sports Hall of Fame. Andrea is passionate about the role of nutrition and fitness in preventing chronic disease, enhancing wellness and quality of life.
