Helping patients make lifestyle changes is a passion of mine. I am excited to be part of a team that brings assistance to patients in a realistic way.

Raquel Cordoves is a registered dietitian and a certified diabetes educator with many years of experience. She has a Master's in Healthcare Administration and over 20 years of experience working with diabetes, weight management, and cardiovascular disease. She has served in capacities as varied as First Lieutenant for the Military, dietitian in hospital and private practice settings, and educator of diabetes self-management programs covering insulin pumps among other topics.

Raquel has experience working with children and adults with diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2), and prediabetes. In addition, she has completed specialized training in childhood and adolescent weight management from the American Dietetic Association. Raquel has given numerous public speaking engagements on the subjects of diabetes and weight management for diverse types of populations.

Raquel’s goal is to be recognized as a leader in assisting people to make lifestyle changes that are realistic and enjoyable. Raquel has received numerous customer service awards for her educational impact on the doctors and patients in her healthcare community.
