Certified Diabetes Educator
Nicole Anziani is a Spanish-speaking Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, Personal Trainer and Holistic Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition. She has worked in the field of dietetics, counseling people with diabetes, for nearly a decade. Nicole specializes in weight management related to endocrine dysfunction, including diabetes, insulin resistance, PCOS, changes associated with menopause and hormonal imbalance, and thyroid disease. She has worked in multiple outpatient settings, including community clinics, large hospitals, a large physicians’ practice group, in schools and universities, in the media, as well as in the public health and emergency food sector. She enjoys creating positive and collaborative relationships with patients and clients, to help them build confidence and strategies to best manage their health.
Nicole has worked with people throughout the span of life – from infants to centenarians. She has contributed to several media publications, including two published diet books (“The Daily Fix” by Alexa Fishback and “Joy Bauer’s LIFE Diet” by Joy Bauer), and is currently writing a professional handbook tentatively titled The Pocket Guide to the Management of Thyroid Conditions, which is planned for publication in February 2016 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
