Meredith I. Liss, MA, RD, CDN, CDE

Fit4D Nutrition Coach

Meredith Liss is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator with Fit4D. She is affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center (NYPH) and works with patients living with diabetes within the New York City community. Meredith has specialized in the nutrition treatment for those individuals living with HIV/AIDS, which has provided the opportunity to be challenged with diverse and varied nutrition related problems. With outstanding advances in the treatment of HIV/AIDS, the incidence of diabetes has been on the rise.

Energized by working with strong individuals living well with a chronic disease, and responding to the increasing incidence of diabetes in the HIV/AIDS population, Meredith became a Certified Diabetes Educator. She developed a diabetes education program within the HIV/AIDS out-patient center, and has expanded her work with individuals living with diabetes.

Meredith has extensive counseling experience working with clients on a variety of health concerns including weight management (both weight loss and healthy weight gain counseling), cardiovascular disease, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, cancer, sports nutrition, gastrointestinal disorders, and general wellness. She has a Master of Arts degree in Applied Physiology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University, and educates clients about the importance of adopting an exercise regimen in addition to a nutrition regimen that best fits their individual needs. Meredith is proud of her record in motivating clients to embark on a weight loss journey when they are uncertain they could be successful.

Meredith is an active member of the American Dietetic Association and belongs to several Dietetic Practice Groups including Diabetes Care and Education, Weight Management, and Infectious Disease Nutrition. Looking to best direct her passion, and to expand her reach in working with individuals living with diabetes, Meredith is proud to be a Fit4D coach.
