Kirsten Ward, MA, CEP, CDE
Certified Diabetes Educator
Kirsten Ward is a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist with The American College of Sports Medicine and she's fluent in Spanish. She is also a Certified Diabetes Educator and Life Coach with a Master’s degree in Exercise Science. She started her career in diabetes working at The Joslin Clinic in Boston, MA as an educator and as the Latino Initiative’s program coordinator. While at The Joslin, she co-authored Rosa’s Story, an audio-novella designed to educate the Latino population about the myths and misconceptions surrounding diabetes using a culturally sensitive approach.
Kirsten’s professional experience also includes working in industry as a medical liaison, and a diabetes and insulin pump specialist. She enjoys creating a warm partnership with patients and clients to help them make positive health care changes for a better quality of life.
