Amy Bradshaw RD, CDE
Certified Diabetes Educator
Amy Bradshaw is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator. She has worked 16 years as a nutrition professional, focusing on diabetes, weight management and the many facets of medical nutrition therapy. Emphasis within her profession has been on diabetes management for over 10 years now. She has served in multiple outpatient settings including; a university, hospital, community health and fitness facility. Her many roles range from program coordinator for a diabetes program, wellness specialist, and managing corporate accounts providing wellness testing and follow up health related education.
Amy has vast experience in both group and one-on-one settings, working with type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. She has done many speaking engagements for large audiences, written multiple articles and created many handouts and wellness presentations. Amy has performed multiple interviews for community television programs as well as co-authored a healthy approach book.
Amy loves people and she especially loves helping people get healthy. Amy is sensitive to patients’ personal situations, surroundings, cultural differences and needs. She is supportive during the venture and understands the feelings involved in the working relationship during behavior management. Amy sincerely enjoys the work of coaching a patient toward a healthier lifestyle and is excited to have the opportunity to do this with Fit4D!
